 Kevlar is one of the strongest materials known to man. It’s used in body armor, performance apparel, protective helmets and now, in fishing rods designed to battle some of the toughest fish on earth. We use only Fuji Alconite Guides for both the casting and spinning models utilizing Fuji’s “New Concept” guide placement system. These extremely strong and lightweight guides are perfect for this application and will provide the durability needed to fight the strongest Salmon or Steelhead that swim in the waters of the Northwest and upper Great Lakes.
